Reference standard

The gas installer is the physical person who, by virtue of possessing theoretical and practical knowledge of technology related to the gas industry and its regulation is able to perform and supervise the operations corresponding to its category.

This definition, together with the whole applicable norm for installers and gas installation companies is if found in the ITC-ICG-09, included in Royal Decree 919/2006 of July 28, approving the technical distribution regulation and use of gaseous fuels and their supplementary technical instructions. Said regulation also relies on various UNE norms to specify certain technical aspects (these can be found here).
